This guide explains SnoutCraft's controlled, technology-assisted workflow and the human decisions that turn a customer photo into an approved framed portrait.
What technology-assisted means
Technology is used to help build an initial composition from the supplied photo and creative brief. The service remains artist-guided and human-reviewed: a person checks likeness, coat markings, eyes, composition, and print preparation before a preview is sent. The finished product is a framed print, not an original painting by a commissioned artist.
From photo to approved portrait
- Photo and brief: upload a clear image and choose a style, size, and frame.
- Creation and review: the team develops the composition and checks it against your reference photo.
- Preview: a preview is emailed within 24 hours, or typically 12 hours for memorial orders.
- Revisions: request unlimited changes, or a full refund at any time before approval.
- Approval and print: only your explicit approval starts production.
The physical product
Approved portraits are printed on 250 gsm museum-quality matte paper and set in a solid pine frame behind shatterproof plexiglass, with hanging hardware fitted. A complimentary high-resolution digital artwork is emailed after physical delivery.
Photo privacy
Uploaded photos are used to fulfil the order and are not added to model-training datasets. The privacy policy explains retention, deletion requests, and the service providers involved.
