How to choose the right size
Small (30×45 cm)
The Small fine-art print works in spaces where the gesture matters more than scale. Desks, bookshelves, gallery walls with multiple smaller frames, narrow hallways. It's the most popular choice for Secret Santa exchanges and thank-you gifts. At this size, your pet is still clearly recognisable and the artwork holds its emotional weight without dominating the room.
Medium (40×60 cm)
The Medium fine-art print is the most versatile choice and our most popular size. It's large enough to be the focal point of a living room or bedroom wall, but not so oversized that it requires its own dedicated space. If you're uncertain, this is the safe choice — it works in almost any modern UK home.
Large (60×90 cm)
The Large fine-art print is a statement piece. It commands attention above a mantel, sofa, or bed, and is the natural choice for open-plan living rooms with high ceilings. Best suited for milestone gifts (50th birthdays, retirements, significant anniversaries) or recipients who appreciate bold décor.
Wall-space rule of thumb
A common interior-design heuristic: artwork should occupy roughly two-thirds of the width of the furniture below it (sofa, mantel, sideboard). For a typical 3-seater UK sofa (~200 cm wide), that means a Medium or Large fine-art print works best. Above a single armchair or narrow side table, Small is appropriate.
Frame colours
All four frame colours come at the same price. They're solid wood with a smooth, fine-grained finish:
- Black — best for contemporary interiors and bold contrast against light walls
- White — versatile, fits Scandinavian or coastal styles, keeps focus on the artwork
- Natural Wood — light pine tone, suits Scandi-modern and rustic interiors, the safest "I'm not sure" choice
- Dark Wood — walnut tone, works in traditional settings with mahogany or oak furniture
Multi-pet portraits
Up to four pets can appear in a single composition at no extra charge. For multi-pet portraits, we generally recommend Medium or Large — Small prints can feel crowded with three or four animals.
